The magic of Pigeon Island is a 30 minute boat ride away. The reef here is home to over 100 coral species and about 300 species of fish. This is where many an observer would find both the juvenile and adult Black Tip Reef Shark as well as a variety of turtle — such as the Hawksbill, the Green Turtle and the Olive Ridley. Pigeon Island gets its name from the countless number of Rock Pigeons that use it as their breeding ground.
ABOUT THE TOUR
- Boat departure time is every day at 9.00 a.m. from our diving center to ensure a swift departure, we meet at the diving center at 8.30 a.m.
- The tour time is around 3-4 hours and included is the boat transfers, all snorkeling equipment , entrance tickets to the national park , snacks and water .
- If you like you can take one of our special snorkeling guides and can also rent a GoPro camera from our shop.
